Electronic Bench Technician
Monday – Thursday or Tuesday - Friday
(to be determined)

Opening: August 8, 2018
Closing: August 14, 2018

Experience: Basic and advanced electronics, computer technology, instrumentation, computer robotics or military equivalent.

Job Duties: Test new equipment per SOI’s and SOP’s. Troubleshoot and repair if needed. Refurbish older equipment to current revision per ECN’s and test per current SOI’s.  Must be able to read schematics, mechanical drawings and computer literate.

Education / Training : Associate Degree in Electronics with solid state, PLC or Digital Motor Control experience, preferred.

Test Required: Yes - Written

Assistant Safety Manager
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Opening: August 8, 2018

Experience: Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations, OSHA 300 report, writing OSHA policy covering OSHA requirements in SOI form.

Job Duties: Assist Safety Manager with day to day safety operations. See attached job description.

Education / Training : Associate Degree in Safety Management or Equivalent to 5 years safety management.

Human Resource Manager
Beaumont Texas

Responsibilities:
• Function as Helena’s Human Resource leadership team.
• Communicate with managers and employees regarding policies and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with personnel, FML/medical, training and I-9 records.
• Approve FML Leave.
• Post new job openings on the job board, Helena website and TWC.
• Maintain application, recruiting and job order logs.
• Provide application packet to managers/supervisors for review of applications.
• Set up interviews with applicants as requested by managers/supervisors.
• Set up physicals and drug screens with the clinic for potential new hire.
• Perform new hire orientation.
• E-Verify new hires and maintain compliance.
• Distribute and gather insurance application’s for open enrollment (annually).
• Complete EOM reports for insurance and Union count.
• Maintain compliance with OFCCP’s regulations concerning Affirmative Action and 503 Veterans.
• Complete and transmit EEO-1 and Vets 100 annually.
• Perform confidential investigations of employee relations issues: grievances, sexual harassment, etc.
• Process information needed for grievance’s filed by employees with the Union.
• Attend and head-up Union grievance meetings.
• Respond to unemployment notices in a timely manner in order to maintain a low experience rate.
• Prepare and represent Helena at unemployment hearings.
• Process and track Leaves of Absence.
• Recruit and screen for open positions.
• Maintain Emergency Preparedness information.
• Provide support to Supervisors and Managers as needed.
• Communicate with the staffing agency to maintain temporary employees.
• Distribute vacation calendars/selections annually.
• Maintain compliance with the Employee Handbooks and Union Contract.
• Process San Serve Employees.
• Provide general administrative support of daily departmental operations and various other duties.
• Supervise and direct the Human Resource Assistant.

Education / Experience Requirements:

  • High School or Equivalent – 2 years of college preferred.
  • Experience in Human Resources preferred.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records.
  • Knowledge/experience with Helena’s ABW system.
  • Experience in a Union environment preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and assess priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with ADP Software preferred.
  • Be a hands-on Manager.
