The Cascade POC analyzer and unique reagent system are useful in monitoring routine anticoagulants as well as antithrombotic drugs used to treat angina, myocardial infarction, stroke, deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary and arterial emboli. Cascade POC offers the broadest range of hemostasis assays at the most affordable price.

Cascade POC PT-WB Assay

The Cascade POC PT-WB assay is for performing prothrombin time testing on fresh whole blood as from a fingerstick or syringe following venipuncture. This assay is ideal for use in surgery, cardiac cath lab, emergency department outpatient centers, warfarin clinics and the physician’s office. Since the Cascade POC is battery operated and portable it may be used at the bedside.

Cascade POC PT-C Assay

The Cascade POC PT-C assay is for performing prothrombin time testing on citrate anticoagulated sample. Useful for monitoring the extrinsic clotting mechanism primarily effected by sodium warfarin. Ideal for use in surgery, cardiac catheterization lab, ER, coumadin clinic or the physician’s office.

Cascade POC aPTT Assay

The Cascade POC aPTT assay is for performing activated partial thromboplastin time testing on citrated whole blood or plasma. May be used as a surgical screen for bleeding tendencies or to monitor factor deficiencies or low levels of heparinization.

Cascade POC Enox Assay

The Cascade POC Enox assay monitors the anticoagulant effects of the Sanofi Aventis brand of Low Molecular Weight Heparin, Lovenox®/Clexane®.  Ideal for use in the cardiac catheterization lab, patient bedside, physician’s office, and surgery. 

Cascade POC c-ACT Assay

Cascade POC c-ACT provides a celite-based equivalent ACT. This assay employs celite as an activator with extrapolation to a time mimicking the classic tube result. May be used in surgery or the cardiac catheterization lab not using anti-fibrinolytics.
