GelGrip is a clear, flexible support for cast gels that ensures the physical integrity of the media through casting, electrophoresis, drying and imaging. Agarose covalently bonds to the casting side of GelGrip while the other side is inert for ease of use with conventional glass plate casting methods. GelGrip can be used in most staining and destaining techniques, including acid and alcohol based stains and destains. GelGrip is UV-opaque below 300 nm, suitable for photography and densitometry.
